Versatile youngster in profile

Son of former Hyde United and Curzon Ashton Manager Gary Lowe, Benito arrived at Church Lane for the first time in September 2018, by then Manager Nick Dowse, making his debut in the FA Vase defeat at Ollerton Town. He quickly gained a reputation as a scorer of great goals, including stunning strikes against Cheadle Heath Nomads and Wythenshawe Amateurs at Church Lane.

The former Sheffield United youngster, who was once rumoured to be attracting the interest of several league clubs including Portsmouth and Fleetwood Town, left the club shortly after the departure of Dowse before being brought back by Mike Norton and Dave Birch in September 2019.

While predominantly an attacking player, Lowe has also appeared in defence for the Millers, impressing in central defence during the clubs run in the Derbyshire Senior Cup, proving his versatility, he also took the Man of the Match award in the Macron Cup defeat at West Didsbury & Chorlton after taking the gloves from Dylan Forth following his early dismissal.

Lowe has also represented Skelmersdale United, Abbey Hey, Ashton United and Curzon Ashton.

To date in the 2019/20 campaign he has made 20 appearances, scoring four times.
