With the North West Counties League Division One South opener against Cheadle Town just over a week away The Millers joint-bosses take their side to Manchester League Premier Division Side Stockport Georgians this evening, the game at Cromley Road kicking off at 7:00pm.

The two sides met in pre-season action a year ago at Church Lane, Benito Lowe and a brace by Kyle Oakes securing a 3-0 win for The Millers.

Having invited a number of players along to pre-season training through the close season, the trip to Georgians represents another opportunity for several of the trialists to prove their worth ahead of the new campaign. With only one more friendly game in place, Wythenshawe Town visit Church Lane on Saturday, before the season begins, the management team will be looking to finalise their squad in the coming days.
